Announcing a Price Reduction and New Pricing Policy

I hope all of you are enjoying a pleasant  summer in your neck of the woods.  Here in Phoenix it is a typical HOT summer and as we move from July to August the saying it is a “dry heat” is a myth!  We get “monsoon moisture” from Mid-July through Mid-September and it is both hot and humid, fun stuff!

For the first time in five years Digitizing is proud to announce a price reduction to one of our primary products.  However, there is a caveat so please read this full paragraph.  Beginning August 1st Qdigitizing will only charge $65 to program any Jacket Back or Full Front embroidery design.   However, the $65 price will include a 3D-True View image of the design instead of an actual sew-out.   If you wish to have a sew-out the new price will be $85 instead of the current $75.We have been considering this change  for some time and as many  of you have already noticed we installed a “lite” version of this on our web site several months ago.  In the current world you can you can waive the sew-out to save $10 on your order.  Well over 75% of you placing jacket back orders on the web site are taking advantage of this offer.  Because of this effective August 1st we have decided to default to no sew-out with a $10 saving and (yes, a slight price increase) if you wish to receive a scanned version of the sewn logo.  When you place a jacket back order on the web site our interface will default to NO sew-out.  After your orders is placed you will receive and email with a “LINK” to request a sew-out for an additional $20 fee.

For those of you who wonder what they “why” is behind a decision like this here are the main points:

  • When we made this choice “optional” more than 75% of customers ordering jackets backs chose saving $10 on their order and waived the sewn sample.
  • From a practical standpoint we (Qdigitizing) can sample as many as 20 left chest/hat type logos in the amount of time it can take to sample just one jacket back design.  During busy season (August through December) jacket back samples can cause significant delays in our production facility.  In the interest of providing better service for everyone this change will free up a great deal of capacity and allow us to serve all of you better.
  • Sew-outs serve two purposes.  The first purpose is to verify the quality of the digitizing the second is to provide you a visual reference for you.   As far as verifying quality the reality is this…even though Jacket Back designs take longer to program often times they pose far fewer issues than small, highly detailed logos.  We rarely have quality issues with Jacket Back designs and we feel 100% confident sending designs to you without a sew out.
  • In a formal survey we sent to a set of customers a large number of you told us (paraphrased) “We need to sample the design anyway.  If we can save $10 we might as well since we have to sample it anyway.

We understand with this price decrease for most of you there is a price increase for some of you.  We are not trying to brush this under the rug.  We understand a price increase of any kind is never a popular thing.  We also understand there are times this might be a hardship.  I understand this and if you ever need assistance all you need to do is send me an email or give me a call and I am certain we can help you.
